I met Bruce when I joined the diving club in the mid 70s. He became a true friend and was always there to help. I was always pleased when we were in the same boat during a dive and always felt safe if he was there, any problems Bruce would sort it out. We spent many years on the diving club committee together, I later got to know his family when Martin joined the club. I would like to thank Martin for coming to tell me the sad news, Bruce will be sadly missed by many.
